# How do I get alerts by e-mail?

> Choose Daily to get one e-mail each morning with your unread alerts, or Off to see alerts only in the app. The choice is yours alone.

Open **My account** and go to **Notifications**. Under **How would you like to receive alerts?** choose **Daily**. That is the setting we recommend, and new users start on it. The choice applies to you only: each colleague picks their own.

## Daily

You get one summary e-mail a day, at 07:00 UTC. It comes after the morning check at 06:30 UTC, so it holds that morning's alerts.

The mail covers the alerts that are still unread for your organisation. It opens with how many there are. When your plan includes price proposals, it also says how many are waiting for your approval.

Below that, alerts are grouped by kind. Undercuts come first, then stock, then the quieter news such as a new retailer. Each group shows its number and a few examples. Every example links into priceq, to that product at that shop where possible.

A few things worth knowing:

- No unread alerts means no mail that day.
- Alerts you marked as read are not in the mail. Marking them read is a quick way to keep tomorrow's mail short.
- The mail is written in the language you chose for your account. See [Change your language and notifications](/help/en/team-and-account/change-your-language-and-notifications).

## Off

You get no alert e-mail. Alerts stay visible on the Alerts page in the app. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of the daily mail also switches you to **Off**.

## When no mail arrives

priceq only mails people who have finished setting up their account, so an invited colleague who never set a password gets nothing. When mail to your address bounces, priceq stops sending to it and shows a banner in the app: **We cannot deliver e-mail to your address.** If you see it, e-mail priceq-support@outflanq.com.

## The weekly and monthly report

The periodic report is a separate e-mail. It does not follow this setting. See [Weekly and monthly reports](/help/en/alerts-and-reports/weekly-and-monthly-reports).

Each alert type and the situation that triggers it are described in the article on alert types: [What makes each type of alert fire?](/help/en/alerts-and-reports/what-triggers-each-alert)
