A product stays unlinked at a shop until priceq finds a page there whose product codes match yours. If a search finds nothing it can prove, nothing is linked, and priceq tries again later. You can also link the page yourself.

## Where you see it

In **Catalog**, open the product and go to the **Links** tab. A shop without a link shows **not found** and **no match found**. A product that is linked at no shop at all says **not linked** in the product list.

## Common causes

- The shop does not sell the product. priceq searched the shop's website and found nothing.
- Your product has no EAN and no part number (MPN). priceq has nothing to check a page against, so it cannot link one automatically.
- The page priceq found carries a different EAN, and nothing else on it proves it is your product.
- The page looked right by name, but no product code on it confirmed it.
- The page belongs to another brand, or it is not a product page.
- The page was a B-stock, refurbished, used or open box listing. Those are never linked.
- The shop's page could not be opened when priceq tried.

Your EAN and part number come from your webshop or your import file. They cannot be edited in the product screen, so correct them at the source. See [Import products from a file](/help/en/products-and-sources/import-products-from-a-file).

## When priceq tries again

Matching runs every night at 03:00 UTC. A product is not searched at the same shop every night:

- when the shop does not seem to carry it (nothing found, or only a name match), priceq waits 30 days;
- after most other misses, it waits 7 days;
- a link that stopped working is searched again the next night.

A large catalogue can take more than one night. Archived products and shops you switched off are not searched at night.

## Link it yourself

1. Find the product page at the shop in your browser.
2. In **Catalog**, open the product, go to **Links**, and click **Paste URL** on that shop's row.
3. Paste the address and click **Save**.

priceq checks that the page carries your EAN. If it does not, use **Link URL** on the **Mappings** tab in **Sources** instead, where you can tick **Skip EAN check**. To let priceq search again right away, click **Find listing** on the same row.
