# What do I see on my first day?

A new account starts empty: no products, no shops, no prices. The dashboard shows the [getting-started checklist](/help/en/getting-started/the-getting-started-checklist) instead of figures, and it stays that way until your products are in.

## Right after you sign in

First you answer [four short questions](/help/en/getting-started/the-first-login-questions). Then the app opens on the dashboard.

- The checklist fills the page and points at the first thing to do: bringing in your products.
- A line at the top counts down your trial, for example "13 days left in your trial", with a **Finish your subscription** link.
- In the sidebar, **Repricing**, **Strategy** and **Dynamic pricing** are locked. They are not part of the free trial. See [why a menu item is locked](/help/en/plans-and-billing/why-is-this-menu-item-locked).

The trial lets you follow up to 100 products at up to 3 competitor shops, with 2 users and one price check a day. [Plans and limits](/help/en/plans-and-billing/plans-and-limits) has the details.

## Getting to your first prices

Prices only come in for products that are linked to a shop. So the order is: products in, shops added, links found, then prices.

Once the first product is linked, you have two ways to get prices. Press **Measure now** in the checklist to collect them straight away, or wait for the daily round at 06:00 UTC. Until a shop has delivered its first price, it shows **Waiting** and **no prices yet** in Sources. See [waiting, no prices yet](/help/en/products-and-sources/waiting-no-prices-yet).

Some links need a person to check them. They collect under Sources, on the **To review** tab. Click **Confirm URL** when the page shows your product, and **Not on this retailer** when it does not.

## When the dashboard fills

As soon as you have products (and, for a webshop, your own shop), the checklist shrinks to one line and the dashboard shows figures. Those figures grow as more prices come in with each round.

A product gets prices only from shops where it is linked. If one stays empty, check its links first, then mail **priceq-support@outflanq.com** if you still cannot tell why.
