An Admin can delete the account in **Settings**, **Danger zone**, with **Delete account**. Nothing is erased that day. You get 30 days to change your mind, and after that priceq erases your organisation's data for good.

## Ask for deletion

1. Open **Settings** and choose **Danger zone**. Only an Admin sees it.
2. In the **Delete account** row, choose **Delete account**.
3. Type the name of your organisation exactly as shown. Capitals do not matter.
4. Choose **Delete account** to confirm.

You see **Deletion requested. Every admin has been e-mailed.** Every Admin of your organisation gets a mail with the date the data will be erased. One colleague cannot quietly end the account without the others knowing.

## The 30 days

During those 30 days nothing changes. You can sign in, prices keep coming in, and the export works. The **Delete account** row shows **Scheduled for** and the date.

To keep your data, download it before the date. See [Export your data](/help/en/privacy-and-data/export-your-data).

## Change your mind

Choose **Undo** in the **Delete account** row. You see **Deletion undone. Nothing will be erased.** Every Admin gets a mail about that too. Undo works right up to the night the data is erased.

## What is erased

On the day itself, priceq erases your products, the links to shop pages, your own prices and your alerts. The people in your user accounts are anonymised, and all keys and sign-in sessions are deleted. None of it can be brought back afterwards.

Some records stay, each for its own reason:

- Invoices and payment records stay 7 years, because the law requires it.
- Each audit log entry is deleted 12 months after it was written, even if your account is gone before then.
- The nightly backups still hold the data until they expire.

The market prices priceq measured on public shop pages are not your data and are not erased with your account. See [Is my data shared with other customers?](/help/en/privacy-and-data/is-my-data-shared-with-other-customers).

## Other ways to end

A subscription that ends, or a trial that runs out without a purchase, also leads to deletion. See [How long do you keep my data?](/help/en/privacy-and-data/how-long-we-keep-your-data).
