# Why can't I add this shop?

> When you add a retailer, priceq checks the address first. Here is what each refusal means and what you can do about it.

When you paste an address in **Add retailer**, priceq checks it before the **Add** button works. If the check refuses the shop, a message says why. The button stays greyed out until the address passes.

## The messages

- "That does not look like a web address." Check for typos. A plain domain such as caseking.de is enough.
- "You already follow" followed by the domain. The shop is already in your list. priceq recognises a shop by the name in its address, so coolblue.be counts as the same shop as coolblue.nl, even in another country.
- "is a shop in" another country, followed by "You can only follow shops in" your country. The country code at the end of the address (.de, .fr, .be) points to a country outside your market.
- "is in the language of" another country. The address has no country code, such as .com, but the site says it is written in the language of another country. A site in English is never refused for this.
- "We cannot follow" the domain "yet. We follow Amazon in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France." Other Amazon sites, such as amazon.com or amazon.it, cannot be added.

## You follow shops in another country

You can only add shops in your own market. Under the two country messages you see "Your market is set to" your country, with a **Change your market** link.

The link opens **Settings**, section **Client**. There you pick your country under **Market**. Only an admin can change it. After that, shops in the new country can be added.

## The site could not be opened

This is not a refusal. The check says it could not open the site just now, which is common for shops with bot protection. The **Add** button still works and priceq uses a heavier route afterwards.

## Your plan is full

If you choose **Add** while you already follow as many competitor shops as your plan allows, you get "Your plan allows" with the number of competitor shops. Your own store and shops you have switched off do not count. You can switch a shop off to make room, see [Edit, pause or delete a source](/help/en/products-and-sources/edit-pause-or-delete-a-source), or look at [Plans and limits](/help/en/plans-and-billing/plans-and-limits).

The full steps are in [adding a retailer](/help/en/products-and-sources/adding-a-retailer).
