# Why is my product blocked, or why is there no proposal?

> What a blocked proposal means, the reasons priceq gives, and why some products get no proposal at all.

A blocked product has a rule, but priceq will not propose a price for it yet. Click the row in **Repricing** and the panel on the right says why. Most blocks come from a missing minimum price, and you fix those in a few seconds.

## Blocked: set a minimum price

"No suggestion: set a minimum price first." priceq never proposes a price without a minimum price for that product. In the strip at the top these rows count as **waiting for a minimum price**.

To fix one product, fill in **Minimum price (€)** in the panel and click **Set minimum price and unblock**. This needs the Supervisor or Admin role. Filling in only **Cost (€)** does not unblock it: the minimum price is what priceq needs. To fix many at once, save a rule on **Strategy**, which sets the minimum price for every product in its scope. See [What's the difference between a floor and a ceiling?](/help/en/rules-and-proposals/floor-and-ceiling-explained)

"No suggestion: your minimum price is above your ceiling." The two limits contradict each other. Lower the minimum price.

## Blocked for another reason

These have nothing to type. The panel names the reason:

- "A promotion is running on this product." Your webshop shows a sale price for it. priceq does not touch a product while your own sale runs.
- A problem with the competitor data, such as **Not seen for too long**, **A bundle, not a single product**, **Not new**, **Different barcode** or **Price too far from your own**. The strip counts these as "with suspect data". Check the link: see [Fix a wrong match](/help/en/checking-matches/fix-a-wrong-match)

## No proposal at all

Some products never show up in the list. That is on purpose:

- The rule is **Manual**.
- No rule covers the product.
- There is no recent competitor price. Prices older than 7 days are not used.
- The change would be too small. A move has to clear both your smallest change in percent and in euros, 0.5% and €0.50 unless you changed them. See [Rounding, outliers and the smallest change](/help/en/rules-and-proposals/rounding-outliers-and-smallest-change).

Proposals are worked out again after every daily price check, so a fix shows up after the next one. A Member or higher can also click **Refresh proposals** to do it right away.
