An Admin invites colleagues from **Settings**, under **Team members**. The colleague gets an e-mail with a link to set a password. That link works for seven days.

## Sending the invite

1. Open **Settings** and choose **Team members**.
2. Choose **+ Invite member**.
3. Fill in **Email address** and **Name**.
4. Pick a **Role**. The default is Member.
5. Choose **Send invite**.

You see **Invite sent.** The colleague now appears in the invited list with the status **invite pending**. Only an Admin sees the invite button. See [What can each role do?](/help/en/team-and-account/roles-and-what-they-can-do) before you pick a role.

## What your colleague does

The e-mail links to a page that greets them by name. They choose a password of at least 8 characters and choose **Activate account**. priceq refuses a password that appears in known data breaches and asks for another one.

If the link has expired or was replaced, the page says **This invitation is invalid or expired.** Ask the Admin to send it again.

## Resend or cancel

On the invite's row, an Admin can choose **Resend** or **Cancel invite**. Resending makes a new link and the old one stops working. Cancelling makes the link invalid straight away and frees the seat. An expired invite keeps its seat until you cancel it.

## When the invite is refused

- The e-mail address already belongs to a priceq user. Each address can only have one account. If it is a deactivated colleague in your own team, choose **Reactivate** on their row instead.
- Your plan has no free seat. Every open invite counts as a seat, just like an active colleague. Deactivated members do not count.

Seats per plan: Free trial and Start 2, Business 3, Professional 5, Enterprise unlimited. To get more seats, change your plan. See [Plans and limits](/help/en/plans-and-billing/plans-and-limits).
