A Supervisor or Admin removes a colleague under **Settings**, **Team members**. The colleague loses access at once. Nothing is deleted, so you can bring them back later with **Reactivate**.

## Remove a colleague

1. Open **Settings** and choose **Team members**.
2. Open the actions menu on the colleague's row.
3. Choose **Remove from team**.
4. Confirm with **Remove from team** in the **Deactivate member** window.

The row now shows **deactivated** and a message confirms **Member deactivated.** The colleague is signed out on their next click and can no longer sign in. A deactivated colleague no longer takes a seat in your plan.

Only someone with the same role or a lower one can be removed by you, and never yourself. The last active Admin cannot be removed: make someone else Admin first.

## Bring a colleague back

Open the actions menu on the deactivated row and choose **Reactivate**. You see **Member reactivated.** The colleague can sign in again with their old password and keeps their old role.

## Leave the organisation yourself

**Leave organisation** sits in **Settings**, **Danger zone**. Only an Admin sees the Danger zone.

1. In the **Leave organisation** row, choose **Leave…** and read the message.
2. Choose **Leave…** again to confirm.

You are signed out and sent to the sign-in page. Only an Admin of the organisation can bring you back, with **Reactivate**.

If you are the only Admin, priceq refuses and asks you to make someone else Admin first. An organisation without an Admin could never invite anyone or change its subscription again.

Members, Supervisors and Viewers do not see this button. To leave, ask an Admin or Supervisor to remove you from the team.

## Everything is logged

Removing, reactivating and leaving all show in the **Activity log**, with who did it and when. See [What can each role do?](/help/en/team-and-account/roles-and-what-they-can-do) for who may do what. To close the whole organisation instead, see [Delete your account](/help/en/privacy-and-data/delete-your-account).
