# What is the difference between Simple and Detailed view?

> Simple shows each product's market as a bar with your price as a ring. Detailed shows one tile per shop, cheapest first.

The Overview matrix has two ways to show the same prices. **Simple** answers "who do I have to beat, and by how much". **Detailed** shows every shop side by side. Switch between them at the top right of the page. priceq remembers your choice in this browser.

## Simple view

Each row is one product. The columns are:

- **gap to cheapest**: how far your price sits above the cheapest shop, as a percentage of that shop's price, with the amount and your place underneath, for example "#2 of 5". When you are the cheapest it says **cheapest** and how far below number two you sit. Within 2% of the cheapest shop, it shows **near parity** with a grey dot.
- **market trend 30d**: how the other shops' prices for this product moved over 30 days. Each shop is compared with its own earlier price and your shop is left out. A dash means there is not enough history yet.
- **the market · cheap → expensive**: a bar from the cheapest to the dearest shop. The open ring is your price, the green dot the cheapest shop.
- **my price**: your own shop's price, or a dash when you do not sell the product.

A red edge on the left of a row means a competitor is more than 2% cheaper. A green edge means you are the cheapest. **not in your store** means your own shop has no price for this product.

Click the bar to open **Who sits where**: every shop by name with its **price**, the difference **vs you**, its **stock** and when it was **last seen**. Press Escape or click elsewhere to close it. **full history →** opens the product page, see [Price history of one product](/help/en/understanding-prices/price-history-of-one-product).

Simple view shows 25 products per page.

## Detailed view

Each shop gets a tile, cheapest on the left. Your own shop's tile is marked **my store** and has a stronger border than the others. On each other tile, a red minus figure means that shop is below your price and a green plus figure means it is above. When you do not sell the product, the figures are grey because there is no price of yours to compare with.

A faded tile with a dashed border has a price older than 72 hours, see [Why does my price data look stale?](/help/en/understanding-prices/why-data-shows-as-stale).

**no listing** in a row means none of the shops you are showing has a price that passes your filters. Check the shops row and the stock chips.

Click any tile to open that shop's product page.
