Why we built it.
The tools in this market were built for retailers with a hundred thousand products, and priced that way. Most shops have a few hundred, and one person doing the pricing next to everything else.
So we build one thing: a tool that watches the shops you compete with, tells you when a price moved, and proposes what to do about it. It changes a price only when you approved it or told a rule to.
How we work.
We are three people: one who has spent years selling hardware to European retailers and knows what a wrong price costs, and two who build software.
- We use priceq ourselves, on a real catalogue, before any customer does.
- When something on this site describes the product, it was written from the code, not from a roadmap.
- When we are not sure, we say so or we leave it out.
Where it runs.
At Hetzner in Nürnberg, Germany. Each customer’s catalogue is separated in the database and backed up every night, encrypted. We name every service we use to run it, and we would rather be asked about it than assumed. Where your data is
