Where it runs.

The application, the database, the queue and the background tasks run at Hetzner in Nürnberg, inside the EU. Every customer is separated in the database itself, so no other priceq customer can see your catalogue, your prices or your matches.

A full backup is made every night and encrypted before it leaves the German cluster.

Five parties touch your data.

A party that is not on the list receives no personal data. A change is announced at least thirty days in advance, so that you can object.

For payments, bookkeeping and the support mailbox we use Stripe, Moneybird and Vimexx; the last two are in the Netherlands. Every party, with its purpose, its country and its transfer mechanism, is on the sub-processor list.

What leaves the EU, said plainly.

The application and the database do not. Two things do: the nightly backup, encrypted before it leaves Germany and stored without the key, and the traffic data Cloudflare sees on its global network. Both run under the EU standard contractual clauses. Email stays inside the EEA: AhaSend sends it from Amsterdam over servers in Germany, Finland, Bulgaria and Norway.

How long we keep it.

Price history runs twelve months, so a price can be compared with the same week a year earlier. Every period is in the privacy statement.

What you can ask.

Everything the GDPR gives you: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. An administrator exports all of the organisation’s data in the app, without asking us. The data processing agreement is part of the terms of every plan, and it is public. We do not sell data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

priceq is a product of Outflanq B.V., Boekweitstraat 62, 2153 GL Nieuw-Vennep, the Netherlands, KvK 42160759. Questions about data go to [email protected].

Four questions about your data.

Is priceq GDPR-compliant?

That is not a badge anyone can hand out. What we can say is where the data is, who touches it, why, for how long, and what you can ask. It is all on this page and in the legal documents behind it.

Does any of my data leave the EU?

The application and the database do not. The encrypted backup and Cloudflare’s traffic data do, each under the EU standard contractual clauses. Email stays inside the EEA.

Can I get a data processing agreement?

Yes. It is part of the terms you accept at sign-up, it applies to every plan, and you can read it on this site before you start.

Who at Outflanq can see my catalogue?

When one of our employees looks along with your account, that is written to the audit log, which the application cannot change or delete.
