Comparison
priceq vs Price2Spy
Both track your competitors’ prices, and with both you start a free trial on your own. The difference is how you add competitors and what comes included. In priceq you add a competitor once and priceq finds the product pages itself. In Price2Spy you add your competitors’ URLs product by product, or have them found: by their team or with their paid Automatch. Here they are side by side.

1Getting started
Adding a competitor
priceq: one address, the rest happens on its own.
You paste a competitor’s address, once. priceq finds their product pages itself, by EAN and then by part number and brand. Press Measure now and you have prices straight away.
Price2Spy: a URL per product.
For each product you add the URL of every competitor, one at a time or in bulk with an import. Or their team finds the URLs: in the trial the first 300 searches (one product on one site) are free, after that by quote. Automatic searching per competitor is also possible, with a one-off setup fee of $300 to $600 per site.

10addresses in priceq, each added once.
At Price2Spy their team can also find the URLs for you, or Automatch does it; that usually costs extra. priceq tracks three competitors on Start and Business, and unlimited on Professional.
2Every morning
What you see when you log in
priceq: everything on one screen, from cheap to expensive.
The overview matrix sets all your products against all your competitors, with your price among them. One click and you see only where you are undercut. You filter on product attributes that priceq builds for you.
Price2Spy: a dashboard and a price matrix.
Your dashboard has blocks with charts and tables. On top of that there are reports, and the price matrix is one of the most popular: your products against the shops, coloured from cheapest to most expensive.

From proposal to your shop
priceq: you see what a strategy does before it does it.
How many prices change, and how many euros lower or higher in total. Every proposal says why. In the first week you approve every change yourself. After that it goes to Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento 2 automatically, and priceq reads every price back.
Price2Spy: a paid module for new prices.
You change prices with the repricing module, which you buy separately. You build a strategy from a template and rules. New prices come to you as a file, or go straight to your shop if it is connected.

4Cost
What you pay each month
priceq: three fixed plans, everything included.
Per month, excluding VAT. Trends, alerts and reports come with every plan. You can cancel any month, or pay yearly for 10% off. It is all on the pricing page.
Price2Spy: plans by number of URLs, modules extra.
Their pricing page shows no amounts; on a comparison page of their own they say ‘from $78.95 a month’. Premium is on request, and modules such as repricing are extra on every plan.
Which one for whom
Which one fits your shop?

Switching
You can leave your URL list behind
1Connect your shop
Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento 2 takes a few clicks. Another shop, or an ERP? Upload your products as a CSV or Excel file, or send them through the priceq API.
2Add your competitors
One address per competitor. priceq finds the product pages itself.
3Run them side by side
Keep Price2Spy for a little while and compare the prices. Then you can see for yourself which one to keep.
Questions
Do I have to add competitor URLs in priceq?
No. You add a competitor’s address once. priceq finds the product pages itself by EAN, part number and brand. Doubtful matches go to a review queue with the reason next to each, so you decide.
How many competitors can I track?
Three on Start and Business, unlimited on Professional. Your own shop does not count.
Do price proposals come with the plan?
Yes, from Business up, with no extra module. The trial does not include price proposals.
Does priceq work with Shopware or BigCommerce?
No, not with a direct connection. You connect Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento 2 yourself. For other shops, use a CSV or Excel file, or the priceq API, which comes with every plan.
Where is my data stored?
priceq is hosted in the EU, at Hetzner in Nuremberg. priceq is a product of Outflanq, a Dutch company.
