Comparison

priceq vs Prisync

Both track your competitors’ prices and work out a new price. The difference is how you work with them. In priceq you add a competitor once and priceq finds the product pages itself. In Prisync you paste a URL per product, or Prisync searches by barcode through Google Shopping and Amazon. Here they are side by side.

3Changing prices

From proposal to your shop

priceq: you see what a strategy does before it does it.

How many prices change, and how many euros lower or higher in total. Every proposal says why. In the first week you approve every change yourself. After that it goes to Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento 2 automatically, and priceq reads every price back.

Prisync: one form, automatic on Shopify only.

You set up a rule in a single form, with a preview table. On Shopify the price goes to your shop automatically. On other shops you fetch the prices through their API and pass them on yourself.

Which one for whom

Which one fits your shop?

Choose priceq if

  • your shop runs on Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento 2
  • you want to track competitors without pasting URLs product by product
  • you want to see at a glance every morning what needs your attention
  • you want to see why every price is what it is

Look at Prisync too if

  • you mainly want to track Google Shopping and Amazon
  • you want to do that in several countries

Switching

You can leave your URL list behind

1Connect your shop

Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento 2 takes a few clicks. Another shop, or an ERP? Upload your products as a CSV or Excel file, or send them through the priceq API.

2Add your competitors

One address per competitor. priceq finds the product pages itself.

3Run them side by side

Keep Prisync for a little while and compare the prices. Then you can see for yourself which one to keep.

Questions

Do I have to paste competitor URLs in priceq?

No. You add a competitor’s address once. priceq finds the product pages itself by EAN, part number and brand. Doubtful matches go to a review queue with the reason next to each, so you decide.

How many competitors can I track?

Three on Start and Business, unlimited on Professional. Your own shop does not count.

How soon do I see the first prices?

As soon as your products are connected, you can measure straight away with Measure now. After that priceq measures every morning on its own.

Does priceq work with WooCommerce or Magento?

Yes. You connect Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento 2 yourself, and priceq writes approved prices back to them too. For other shops, use a CSV or Excel file, or the priceq API, which comes with every plan.

Does priceq track Google Shopping or Amazon?

priceq tracks your competitors’ own webshops, in your own country. If you mainly want to track Google Shopping and Amazon, Prisync is the better fit for that.

Where is my data stored?

priceq is hosted in the EU, at Hetzner in Nuremberg. priceq is a product of Outflanq, a Dutch company.
