What is the review queue and how do I clear it?
Updated
Checking matches, 8 articles
The review queue holds the product pages priceq found but would not link on its own. You find it in Sources on the To review tab. The number on the tab, and on Sources in the menu, is how many are waiting. For each card you either confirm the right page or say the shop does not sell the product.
What lands here
Two situations put a product in the queue:
- Automatic matching found a page whose EAN differs from yours, and the part number does not settle it. The codes contradict each other, so priceq leaves the call to you.
- A row from a URL import whose page shows a different EAN, or could not be opened. See Import product URLs in bulk.
A product that simply was not found does not come here. That case is covered in Why is my product still unmatched?.
Reading a card
Each card shows your product with its sku and EAN, the shop, and how many pages were examined. When there are candidates, they are listed under candidates · click to choose. Click one to put its address in the URL field, or paste your own under confirm or paste a url.
Confirm the right page
- Put the product page in the URL field.
- Leave skip EAN check ticked if you know this is your product despite the different EAN. For conflicts found by automatic matching it is ticked already.
- Click Confirm URL.
The card disappears and the link is saved as matched. If you untick the box and the EAN on the page is not yours, you see EAN doesn't match with both EANs. Tick skip EAN check and confirm again if you are sure.
The shop does not sell it
Click Not on this retailer. The card disappears and nothing is linked. This is not permanent: after 7 days priceq searches that shop for the product again, and it can come back to the queue.
Nothing to review
When the queue is empty you see Nothing to review. The tab shows up to 50 cards at a time, so a long queue refills as you work through it. Linked the wrong page by mistake? Fix a wrong match shows how to change it.
