Why did a working link disappear?

priceq drops a link when the shop's page no longer shows your product. It then searches that shop for a new page during the next nightly run, at 03:00 UTC. A page that only lost its price keeps its link.
When priceq drops a link
Every price round opens the linked pages. The link is taken out when the page:
- no longer exists at the shop;
- marks the product as discontinued;
- now shows another product: every product code on the page is an EAN other than yours;
- sends priceq to the shop's home page or to a page that is not a product page.
That shop's row in the product's Links tab then says not found. On the Mappings tab in Sources, the row shows the state unmatched.
What happens next
priceq does not wait for the usual retry period here. The product is searched again at that shop the next night. When no new page turns up, the reasons in Why is my product still unmatched? apply. You can also paste the new page yourself with Paste URL in the Links tab.
A page without a price
Sometimes the page is still there and still shows your product, just without a price. Then the link stays. When priceq has read no price there for 30 days, the Links tab shows Unavailable since with a date.
The row has a button for that. Click Back in stock? Check now to have priceq open the page right away. A price puts the link back in every price check and you see Price found. This link is back in every price check. Without a price the link stays as it is. See Check links per product.
Archived products
When you archive a product, its links are switched off and priceq stops reading those pages. On the Mappings tab they show the state dismissed. Archived products are not searched for at night either. More on archiving in Managing your catalogue.
