HelpRules and proposals
Rules and proposals
Choosing a pricing goal, minimum and maximum prices, approving proposals, and sending prices to your webshop.
- Which pricing goal should I pick?
The five goals on the Strategy page, how each one works out a price, and which rule wins when several apply to one product.
- Why is my product blocked, or why is there no proposal?
What a blocked proposal means, the reasons priceq gives, and why some products get no proposal at all.
- What's the difference between a floor and a ceiling?
The minimum price is the lowest price priceq will propose, the ceiling the highest. Every proposal is kept between them.
- If I approve a proposal, does it change the price in my webshop?
No. Approving only marks a proposal as ready. The price in your webshop changes when you send it, and priceq checks it afterwards.
- How do I send approved prices to my shop?
Send approved prices from the bar at the bottom of Repricing, confirm the count, and read in History what your shop confirmed.
- How do I undo a round or stop all price changes?
Undo the latest round of prices from Repricing History, or stop every price change at once from the Dynamic pricing page.
- How do rounding, outliers and the smallest change work?
Three settings on the Strategy page apply to every proposal: how prices end, whether odd low prices count, and the smallest change worth proposing.
- Can priceq send prices to my shop by itself?
Automatic sending is a beta you switch on per pricing rule after a trial week. It stays within your tier, your limits and the brake.
