HelpRules and proposals

If I approve a proposal, does it change the price in my webshop?

No. Approving marks a proposal as ready to send, nothing more. Your webshop keeps its price until someone sends the approved prices, and priceq then reads each price back from your shop to confirm it.

There is one exception: a rule with automatic sending switched on. See Automatic sending.

Approving

Open Repricing and go to the Proposals tab. Click a row to see "why this price" on the right, then click Approve or Reject. To decide on many at once, tick the rows (or Select all) and use Approve or Reject in the bar above the list.

An approved row stays in the list with the label approved. The strip at the top counts it under ready to send, and the bar at the bottom shows how many are approved and which shop they go to.

Approving needs the Supervisor or Admin role and the Business plan or higher.

Changed your mind

Click an approved row and choose Withdraw approval. It goes back to to review. This works until the price has been sent.

What can change after you approve

  • priceq does not rewrite an approved proposal when it works out new proposals after the daily price check.
  • If a proposal changed while you were looking at the list, your click does not count for it. You see "1 proposal was refreshed in the meantime and is back in the list". Look at the new price and decide again.

What sends the price

Only the send button in the bar at the bottom writes to your shop. It reads, for example, Send 12 prices. Before anything is written, priceq checks your shop again and skips a price that no longer fits. See Sending prices to your shop.

If no webshop is connected, or the connection needs attention, the bar says "Connect a webshop first to push prices." and the button stays off. Approved prices wait until the connection works again. See Fix a broken webshop connection.
