Why did my alert disappear?
Updated
Alerts and reports, 8 articles
Most often the situation is simply over. At its daily check at 06:30 UTC, priceq closes every unread or read alert it no longer sees: the competitor raised their price again, your shop is back in stock, or the shop delivers prices again. Those alerts move to Resolved.
Where to look
The Alerts page opens on Unread. An alert you opened and marked read is under Read, a snoozed one under Snoozed, and so on. Choose All to see every alert, whatever its state.
Check the filters above the list too. A category or type filter hides everything outside it.
Other reasons
- Your snooze ran out. A snoozed alert moves to Resolved when its time is up. If the situation is still there, a new alert appears at the next check.
- You muted a similar alert. A mute stops new alerts of that type for the same product and for the same shop. See Snooze, ignore, mute or resolve.
- Your threshold changed. After a stricter threshold, alerts that no longer qualify close at the next check. See Alert thresholds and category exceptions.
- It is folded away. When there are new, worsened or critical alerts, alerts that have not changed are collapsed under a line such as 3 unchanged items. Click it to open the list.
Your own sale
When a product from your connected Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento shop is on sale, priceq does not raise a Sudden price move for your own shop when the sale starts, or when your price returns to its list price afterwards. The panel your own actions on the Alerts page lists your products that are on sale right now.
Alerts about competitors are still raised during your sale. They carry an on sale label, so you can see the product is in your own promotion.
Many open alerts
The page shows up to 500 open alerts, most important first. When you have more, a line says so: "You are seeing the 500 most important of ... open alerts." Handle these, or use the filters, and the rest move up.
