Getting started
Creating your account, the first questions, the getting-started checklist, and what you see on day one.
- How do I create a priceq account?
Fill in the sign-up form, then click the link in the confirmation email. That click signs you in and starts your 14-day free trial.
- Didn't get the confirmation email?
Check your spam folder, then send the mail again. A new mail brings a new link and the old one stops working. Some addresses never get a mail.
- Why does priceq ask four questions when I first sign in?
Your name, country, language and company type. They set your market and language, and decide whether you are asked to point out your own shop.
- How does the getting-started checklist work?
The dashboard lists the steps between a new account and your first prices. Each step ticks itself off when it is done, and the list then disappears.
- What do I see on my first day?
A new account starts empty. The dashboard shows a checklist until your products are in, and prices arrive once products are linked to shops.
- How do I point out my own shop?
Webshops mark their own shop in Sources so priceq can compare your price with the competition. Brands and distributors can skip this step.
- When does priceq check prices?
Every day at 06:00 UTC for every customer. Business and Professional add a second round at an hour you choose under Settings, Collecting.
