Why does priceq ask four questions when I first sign in?
Updated
Getting started, 7 articles
The first time you sign in to a new account, priceq shows Four more questions before anything else. It takes about fifteen seconds and you only see it once. Your answers set up the app for the kind of company you are.
The four questions
- Your name: how priceq addresses you.
- Country: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Poland, United Kingdom, Ireland, or Somewhere else.
- Language: Dutch, English, German, French or Polish. The app switches to it the moment you save.
- What kind of company are you?: Brand if you make the products and sell through shops, Distributor if you supply shops rather than consumers, or Webshop if you sell to consumers yourself.
Click Save and get started to open the app.
What your answers change
Company type decides one step of the getting-started checklist. Only a Webshop is asked to point out its own shop, because only a webshop sells the products itself. A brand or distributor never gets that step, and its dashboard does not wait for it.
Your country becomes your market. The shops you add are checked against it. If you pick Somewhere else, your market stays at its default until someone changes it.
Your language is used for the app, and for emails meant for you personally, such as a password reset.
Changing your answers later
- Language: change it in your own account settings. See change your language.
- Market: an admin can change it under Settings, Client, Market.
- Company type: shown under Settings, Client, Type (a webshop shows as E-tailer). You cannot change it there. Mail [email protected] if it is wrong.
Colleagues you invite do not see this screen. Their name comes with the invitation, and the organisation's answers are already in place.
