Privacy and data
Where your data lives, how long we keep it, downloading all of it, deleting your account, and the processing agreement.
- Where is my data stored, and does it leave the EU?
priceq and its database run at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Backup copies outside the EU are encrypted before they leave.
- Is my data shared with other priceq customers?
Prices measured on public shop pages are pooled across customers. Your catalogue, links, own prices, rules and alerts stay in your account only.
- How long do you keep my data?
Your account data stays while your account exists and is erased at the latest 30 days after it ends. Price history is kept for 13 months.
- How do I export all my data?
An Admin downloads everything priceq holds for the organisation as one ZIP of CSV files, under Settings, Data export. No need to ask us.
- How do I delete my account?
An Admin asks for deletion under Settings, Danger zone. Everything is erased 30 days later, and until then one click undoes it.
- Do you have a data processing agreement?
Yes. It is public on our website and you accept it when you sign up. It uses the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Who are your sub-processors?
Five parties process personal data for priceq on your behalf: Hetzner, Cloudflare, Backblaze, AhaSend and Sentry. Changes come 30 days ahead.
