How do I export all my data?
Updated
Privacy and data, 7 articles
An Admin can download everything priceq holds for your organisation in one go. Open Settings, choose Data export and click Download my data. You get one ZIP file with a CSV file per type of data.
Download the file
- Open Settings.
- Choose Data export. The section is called Take your data with you.
- Choose Download my data.
While priceq builds the file, the button reads Putting it together…. Keep the tab open. The file is made while you wait, not sent by e-mail. It is named priceq-export followed by today's date.
Only an Admin sees this section. Handing over the whole dataset is an act of the organisation, not of whoever is signed in. See What can each role do?.
What is in the ZIP
Your business data:
- your products
- the shop pages they are linked to
- the prices measured on those pages
- your alerts
- your price suggestions
And the personal data of your organisation:
- your company name and address
- your users, with role, language and e-mail settings
- sign-in sessions
- which terms each person accepted, and when
- the audit log
- your sign-up details
- your support questions and our replies
The ZIP also holds a short read-me file. File names and column names follow the language you use in priceq. The files open straight into Excel.
Invoices are not in the export. You find them under Subscription in Settings. See Where are my invoices?.
After you cancel or ask for deletion
The export keeps working after your subscription ends and during the 30 days after an Admin asks to delete the account. Download it before the data is erased. See Delete your account.
If it fails
You see Building the export failed. Try again, or email [email protected]. Try once more. If it fails again, mail us.
Every download shows in the Activity log as Full data export downloaded.
Cannot find it? Mail us. We answer ourselves, then write the article. [email protected]
