How long do you keep my data?

Your account data stays as long as your account exists. Once the agreement ends, priceq erases it within 30 days. Price history is kept for 13 months, and some records have their own clock.

When your account ends

How the 30 days start depends on how the account ends:

• You ask for deletion yourself. priceq erases everything 30 days after the request, and you can undo it until then. See Delete your account.
• Your paid subscription ends. The data is erased 30 days after the end of the subscription, not 30 days after you clicked cancel.
• Your trial ends and nobody buys. The account is suspended at the end of the trial. If you buy within 30 days, you get it back. If not, the agreement ends then and the data is erased 30 days later, so 60 days after the trial ended.

An Admin can still sign in and export the data while a deletion request is pending, and during the 30 days after a subscription or trial ends. After a trial, the last 30 days before erasure are closed: the account is archived and nobody can sign in. See Export your data.

Periods per type of data

• Price history: 13 months. These are prices from public shop pages, not personal data.
• Audit log: 12 months after each action, even if your account ended earlier.
• Sign-in sessions: until they end or are revoked, then 12 months.
• Record of alert e-mails sent: 12 months.
• Acceptance of the terms: as long as the agreement runs.
• Support messages: as long as the agreement runs. From someone who is not a customer, 12 months after the last message.
• Sign-up forms: 12 months after handling. A sign-up that is never confirmed is deleted after 7 days.
• Ad click identifier, only if you ticked the box for it at sign-up: 90 days after you confirmed your e-mail address.
• Company name and address: as long as the agreement runs, and 7 years on invoices.
• Invoices and payment records: 7 years, because the law requires it.

The nightly backups hold data a while longer, until they expire. They are encrypted before they leave our servers.

Earlier deletion
