What does each source status mean?
Updated
Products and sources, 8 articles
Every retailer on the Sources page shows one status. Healthy means prices are coming in. Waiting means nothing has come in yet. Delayed means the last check failed and priceq retries by itself. Action needed means you have to act.
Next to the status you see when the last price came in, or "no prices yet". The bar above the list counts each status. Click a count to show only those retailers.
Waiting
The shop has never delivered a price. Usually your products are not linked to its pages yet. See Waiting: no prices yet.
Delayed
Two reasons, and neither needs you:
- Temporarily refused: the shop turned away the last visits.
- Briefly unreachable: the shop could not be reached.
In both cases priceq tries again on its own.
Action needed
Three reasons. The row shows the reason and the button that fixes it.
- Blocked by bot-protection: the shop blocks automated visits. Your products are still linked. Choose Escalate.
- Only reachable from a country: the shop only shows prices to visitors from that country. Choose Escalate. priceq then uses a route in that country.
- Page layout changed: the product pages look different and priceq can no longer read the price. Choose Fix link. Escalating does not help here.
What Escalate does
Escalate switches the shop to a heavier way of reaching its pages and starts a new try straight away. You see Escalation started. In the retailer's detail panel, collection level then reads Extended route instead of Standard. The button in that panel is called Escalate collection.
You can escalate a shop yourself. There is no request to send and nothing to wait for from us. If the status stays red afterwards, contact [email protected].
What Fix link does
Fix link opens the Mappings tab, filtered on that retailer. There you check the product addresses and correct them with Edit URL. See Fix a wrong match.
More detail
Click the retailer's name to open its detail panel. It explains the reason and shows a strip of the last 14 days, one block per day. See Edit, pause or delete a source.
