What happens when my trial ends?

When the 14 days are over, priceq stops measuring and your account is put on hold. Nothing is deleted yet. Pick a plan within 30 days and everything carries on where it stopped.

Before the end

  • A line at the top of the app counts down the days left, with a Finish your subscription link. In the last three days the text turns to a warning colour. On the final day it reads Your trial ends today.
  • Every admin of the account gets an email seven days, three days and one day before the end.

The day it ends

Shortly after the end date passes, the account is put on hold and every admin gets a "Your trial has ended" email.

  • The daily price checks stop for your account.
  • You can still sign in, but every screen takes you to Settings, Subscription, with the message Your subscription has expired. Choose a plan to continue. The rest of the app stays closed until you pick a plan.
  • Your products, shops and price history are kept.

Only an admin can pick a plan. Other roles see Only an admin can manage the subscription.

Picking a plan

Choose a plan on the Subscription screen. See buy, change or cancel your subscription. Once the payment is through, the whole app opens again and measuring resumes with the next daily round at 06:00 UTC, on the same products and shops.

Buying before the trial ends is the better route. You keep the trial days you have left: subscribe on day 5 and your first payment is taken on the day the trial would have ended. That only works while more than 48 hours of the trial remain; closer to the end, you pay straight away.

If you do nothing

  • 30 days after the trial ends, the account is closed. Signing in no longer works. Admins get an email with the date the data will be deleted.
  • 60 days after the trial ends, your data is deleted for good.

If you change your mind after the account closed, reply to that email before the deletion date. The account can then be switched back on, exactly as you left it.

To keep a copy of your data while you can still sign in, see export your data. For what each plan includes, see plans and limits.
