Can priceq support see my account?

Updated

Team and account, 9 articles

Yes, but only to look. To answer a support question, a person on the priceq team can open your account and see the app the way you see it. That session is read-only, it ends after 30 minutes, and it always leaves a line with the reason in your activity log.

The rules of a look-along session

  • Read-only. The server refuses every change during the session. Support cannot edit a product, approve a price, send anything to your webshop or change a setting.
  • 30 minutes. The access expires after thirty minutes and cannot be extended. Needing more time means starting a new session, with a new reason.
  • A reason first. A session cannot start without a written reason. That reason is stored before access is granted. If storing it fails, there is no session.
  • A named person. The session runs under the support employee's own login. Nothing they look at is recorded as done by one of your colleagues.

Four screens stay closed during a look-along: your team members, the activity log, the full data export and your API keys. On the subscription screen your payments list stays empty.

How to check who looked

Open Settings and go to Activity log. You need the Supervisor or Admin role to see it. Each session shows up as a row titled Looked along with your account, with:

  • the reason support typed, after Reason:
  • the moment the access expired
  • Outflanq support as the actor, marked as outside your organisation

Export CSV downloads the log with the reason in a column of its own. More about the log in The activity log.

When it happens

Support uses it to answer a question, for example why a product shows no price. There is no switch in the app to allow or block it; the activity log is where you see every session. The processing agreement describes the same rules in contract form, see Can I get a data-processing agreement?.

If you do not recognise a row, mail [email protected] with its date and time. The contact page explains what else to include.
